Clean rooms, but pricey stay

The staff greeted us warmly, making us feel at home right away. The pool area was enjoyable and a nice spot for relaxation after a long day.

Unfortunately, the hotel showed signs of neglect, broken outlets and strange smells in the hallways disturbed our experience. The breakfast options were very limited.

The pool area provided a great spot for my kids to unwind after our exploration of Douglas. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and the room's setup was surprisingly comfortable. Just be ready for some vintage charm that reflects its history, which we found quirky and fun!

I felt the location was central, making it easy to explore Douglas. However, the overall cleanliness and breakfast experience could use some serious improvements to match guests' expectations with their marketing.
